Happy Birthday Josh  — Only a little bit belated

It’s been a busy month.  One big event during the last month has been Maggie and Josh took a big step — they changed their status from boyfriend/girlfriend to significant others.  What marks this step; two events.  First and most important, Josh added Maggie to his cellphone plan.  So she has a new iphone and a new phone number.  Second big event, Maggie started a new job in a new city with a new apartment and a new roommate who happens to be Josh.  So now I have to acknowledge his birthday which does happen to fall in July.  Early july to be specific.u

Josh–over the last couple years, it’s started to become a tradition where I post (or others post) pictures that the birthday recipient may have never seen.  Welcome to the family and enjoy the photos..  Be forewarned, I have more, you get to see them next year.

Author: Heres to ART not Cockroaches

Welcome to my life. My life as a mom is changing as the kids grow up, leave home, and build their own lives. This gives me a chance to rebuild myself as an artist, develop a spiritual path, and most fun of all, start going out on dates with my husband. Come here the stories about the small things in life that can make one very happy. Dogs running on a beach, great breakfast dates, kids and their adventures, and my own adventures in this wacky life. I'll share some of my progress in learning art while juggling a full time job as an engineer. And best of all, it's a chance for me to practice writing stories while keeping in touch with my kids. I look forward to hearing from you. Comments, thoughts, and invitations to meet for coffee are all welcomed. Enjoy the stories.
