Sublime Chocolate

Today I tried what may the best chocolate I’ve ever had. Dark Ginger Wasabi Sea Salt Chocolate from Cost Plus’s World Market. When you take a small bit, the salt hits your tongue instantly followed by a spicy wasabi / ginger taste. Eventually a chocolate taste with a small bit of sugar hits the tongue. On the second bite, the chocolate flavor comes out along with the spiceness of ginger. Then the salt provides a lovely contrast. At the end, there is this complex collection of flavors left in my mouth. It is sublime, something to be savored.
Not everyone agrees. Kate found the flavors disgusting. Bob liked it, at least he ate a few pieces of the chocolate. And my coworkers said that it was different but good. It’s ok if not everyone likes it, then there is more chocolate for me. And I’ll savor every bit of it.
