So forgot the most interesting lesson of all today which came from my bardic studies — the one on mixing fire and water. MEAD. The lesson this week was to experiment with the mixture of fire and water as express in the drink of Mead. You get a fire in a belly through drinking the water. Evidently, Mead (which is the product of fermented honey) is a traditional drink in in every continent. Many cultures 6000 years ago drank mead. Recipes come from England, South America, Africa, Egypt, China, and other locals. So I told Bob we should add the study of Mead to our solstice celebrations. He’s amenable. We may cheat and go to BevMo to buy a bottle along with a variety of different beers.
